You should check your water heater occasionally for leaks and have them flushed once a year for peak performance. Usually water heaters don’t need to be replaced unless a leak develops in the tank.  You probably don’t want to spend time and money on a water heater over 12 years old. We sell all makes and sizes of water heaters, 40, 50, 75 gallons being the most common.  We also install tankless water heaters. If requested we can install a free emergency shut-off wrench by the gas meter. We promise not to install any water heater unless it is absolutely necessary.
